I actually had to go buy some long sleeve shirts today for Ainsley and Ben. For all of those who live above the Red River, don’t laugh. It is actually going to get in the 20s and with the wind blowing they expect to feel like it is in the single digits. So we have pulled out the winter coats, hats, gloves, etc. Madie was ready to pull out the ski pants. I don’t think we will need that, but I am pulling out my winter coat for the first time since we moved here. I feel for everyone else who will feel much colder weather. Ben was excited to get some shirts, but he doesn’t think that he will need his coat. ” ‘Cause I’m a cornhusker.” Being a cornhusker doesn’t prevent frostbite.
We are heading to church tonight for Epiphany worship and dinner before. Ben will enjoy getting out and being with people again. He is feeling antsy these days. He actually wanted to go shopping. Miracle. We went through his closet the other day. He has grown so much. He needed new jeans too. We are getting him already to go to school on Monday. It will be like the first day of school in August for him. He and I are so pumped for Monday. He just needs a new haircut and he will be ready. Until then. . .
