Chest tubes out. New jammies on. The boy is ready to go. He quickly climbed out of the bed, so that he could look out of the window at the water wall. This is as close as mom wants to get to the window. I hate the 15th floor. Let’s face it. I would hate the 2nd floor. Ben climbed up on the couch faster than I could tell him not too.
He has been waiting a long time to look out of the window.
I once had a couple of CF patients who decided, late one night, who filled up a rubber glove with water and tried to sneak it up to the roof of the hospital to roll it off! And, that was when there were only 7 floors. Fortunately for them, they got caught trying to get a 5,000 pound rubber glove full of water onto the elevator!
We know exactly how he feels. We hate it when the Methodist people put us in a room without a view. Sometimes we can see the same water wall…pretty cool! I also hate heights, Kath, so am glad that the rooms we are usually in are not higher than 8 floors up. So glad to see the little lad looking so good.
