And Ainsley has it. I’m not sure what it is, but she keeps complaining that her brain hurts. Cute. She’s got a massive headache and it is making her nauseous. Poor thing. She ran a low-grade fever all yesterday until the evening when she woke up from a nap with a 103 degree fever. The scenario seems to be repeating itself today. Hopefully she will get over it soon. I just hope that she is better by Tuesday, since that is the first day back.
Of course, Madie was just upset about how she was going to make it to church. She did not want to miss out. She loves going to church. She woke up at 6:00am to check with Daddy to see if she could ride with him. Fortunately for her, we had procured a ride for her with a friend so that she didn’t have to leave until closer to the 10:30 start time. By the time I was up and dressed, Ben was up, dressed, and had a tie on. I guess he really wanted to go to. He told us he didn’t want to go to church last night, but I think the thought of hanging out with his friends . . . instead of the original plan of him and Madie sitting by themselves and having to spend all morning at church with Dad . . . was just too good to pass up. He told me this morning that he just needed “time” with them. He hasn’t had any “friend” time in a while. I am glad that he changed his mind. And he did look adorable in the shirt and tie that did not match, but that he insisted on wearing. I need Aunt Debra to come and do a fashion lesson with him. I think because the messages come from Mom he can’t handle them. At least he wants to wear a tie!
