I finally was able to finish updating the blog today. I have been absent from updates for several weeks. Between the beginning of school and trying to catch up with all of the work I had been neglecting lately, I haven’t had time. And I told myself that I had to get caught up before I could allow myself to post pictures. Beside I wasn’t quite ready to be “happy” about the beginning of school. I have officially worked through enough of my issues about missing all of my babies to be happy with them being at school.
They are all liking school. Ainsley adores Mrs. Sellars. Ben told me that he was going to make all zeros this year so he could have Mrs. Horton as his teacher again next year. And Madie is enjoying going to two teachers for class. Of course, she is already freaking out about the state tests this year. Only six more months to go before she has to take them.
Our schedule is filling up already. We have something every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. If we reserve Wednesday for church, our week is full. We haven’t found a Boy Scout troop for Ben yet. I fear what day that will be. I am so glad that I decided to not do sports this fall. I have signed up to help at school again. Ainsley and Ben’s teachers have me on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Madie’s teacher hasn’t asked me to come on a regular schedule, but I hope that it isn’t on Tuesday or Thursday. If so, I am requesting my own parking spot at school. It’s a good thing I love to volunteer up at school. I like having a regular schedule. I won’t be up at school all day, so that’s good. Between co-leading two Girl Scout troops (yes. I started a new one for Ainsley), volunteering at church and school, and working at my job, I am busy. If I say yes to anything else, I will officially go insane. I have to practice saying “No” more often.
Oh no, what about Gordon time? Can you fit him in? I don’t think with your schedule that leaves any days left to have a Gordon day every once in a while. :o(
