So this was our first Blue and Gold Banquet where we had to bring a cake to auction off. So I made an Ultimate Cake and Ben helped me. My cake sold for $100 and I told the second bidder that if he still wanted the cake that I would sell him one too. I happened to have another cake at home for the church cake sale, so I went home and grabbed it and sold it to the other bidder for $75. I think that’s pretty good!! The underestimated the number of people coming for the banquet, so we ran out seats. The kids all had to share chairs, but we got to eat some awesome BBQ. Ben received some really cool awards. It was a good day.
